89 years old diabetic woman suffering from immobilisation syndrome resulting from diabetic arteriopathy, chronic kidney failure, vascular dementia and fecal and urinary incontinence.
Due to critical ischemia of the right lower limb, she underwent a transfemoral amputation.
Diagnosis
Dehiscence after transfemoral amputation with fistula (5 years ago).
Previous Treatment
SSD cream and povidoiodine gauze.
Reason for change
Purulent and colliquative serum-blood secretion.
Treatment
- Vulnamin Gel (in the fistula)
- 20 weeks
- Daily application
- Moist gauze as secondary dressing

- New indication to treat fistulas
- Good restoration of the surgical scar
- No pain
- No infection
